Chris Cotton plays with Buddy Guy !!!! Here is the Y108 concert review and that 14yr old is Chris !! - Tuesday, April 24, 2007BUDDY GUY AT HAMILTON PLACE APRIL 22 Monday, April 23, 2007
The legendary bluesman rolled into Hamilton Place last night, delivering a riviting although patchy 90 minute set of blues, soul and...comedy. Buddy's a legend who tends to go off on tangents, weaving blues licks with narrative about growing up with the blues. When he's playing, he's stellar, the true muse of today's rock legends. His guitar playing inspired everyone from Clapton to Keith, even though he doesn't get the respect paid to Muddy and John Lee. Highlight of the evening came not from Buddy but from a 14-year-old boy in the audience, who accepted an offer from Buddy to play his guitar. The kick rocked like only a white 14-year-old can, impressing the legend and bringing the crowd to its feet. Good show!

SATURDAY, JUNE 10
The Bluesers , who kicked off the Silver Dollar 's Saturday showcases, are like the Partridge Family of, well, the blues. They've even got their own Danny Bonaduce in 13-year-old guitar phenom Chris Cotton , who, with his glasses and bowl cut, looked like he should be doing spelling bees instead of shredding face-melting solos over 12-bar electric blues.
